AIR FRANCE WISHES ITS CABIN CREW A VERY HAPPY DAY

On 31 May, International Flight Attendant Day reminds us of the essential role played by Air France cabin crews in the incredible adventure of aeronautics.

Air France flight attendants accompany our customers around the world and make every effort to ensure they enjoy a unique travel experience. These Air France men and women offer their expertise and know-how to our customers on a daily basis to guarantee them the highest standards of safety and service.

Today is the ideal occasion to recall that 83 years ago, the first flight attendants joined Air France. The stewards hired in 1938 primarily fulfilled barmen duties. In 1946, after the Second World War, as the company underwent a reconstruction in order to expand France's influence worldwide, the first stewardesses started working alongside stewards on board. Today, we are celebrating the 75th anniversary of a myth, that of a profession that continues to inspire. 

Air France has been proudly promoting and highlighting France throughout the world since 1933 and with its cabin crew, the company connects and brings people together, turning travel into a pleasurable and memorable experience.
